No matter how old my kids get, I still enjoy creating little Easter baskets for them! This year, if you’re looking for a unique DIY Easter basket, check out these adorable ones again<\/em> totally DIY Easter baskets.<\/p>\n

The best part, these cute and crafty Easter baskets are inexpensive to make when you shop at the Dollar Tree! If not, you can also shop at your local grocery store for the seasonal items needed for this project.<\/p>\n

    Use a hot glue gun to glue the corners of the candy boxes together, and glue to a piece of cardboard at the bottom of the basket.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

    Attach the handle to the center of the basket. This can be a headband as shown, a piece of craft foam, or a piece of candy floss.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

    Decorate further by hot-gluing a decorative ribbon around it if you like, or tie a bow.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

    More tips for making Dollar Tree Easter baskets:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    • Theater-sized candy boxes are perfect for this project as are packages of Easter Peeps marshmallows. If you choose crackers or other sweet snacks, try to look for similar shaped boxes.<\/li>\n
    • If you wanted to use clear packing tape to secure everything, I’m sure that would work as well as hot glue.<\/li>\n
    • For the “handle” of the basket, you can use a headband, a piece of craft foam, or a long piece of candy. For one of my baskets, I actually hot glued two beef sticks together and glued the ends inside the “basket”. Very sweet!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n

      Homemade Easter baskets are an easy and adorable craft!<\/em><\/h2>\n

      My daughter can make it for her friends, too! It would be a nice, thoughtful gift for nieces, nephews, or grandkids. A Cracker Jack version would be fun for baseball fans, just add sunflower seeds, gum, or a baseball.<\/p>\n

      This idea could work beyond Easter too, as a small gift basket for a movie gift card or an end of the year teacher or coach gift. \ud83c\udf81<\/p>\n

      Here are two more fun examples I’ve made over the years! I cut them into thin strips of hair from the handle as decoration on these. What a fun little craft that’s easy to pull off!<\/p>\n\n
