Amazon’s Big Spring Sale is live now and we’ve prepared a list of smart and easy ways to earn over $150 in Amazon credits that you can put towards your Amazon purchases!
Here’s how to get Amazon Credits easily:
1. Combine prepaid cards into one Amazon gift card.
If you have various prepaid cards with balances on them, use them to reload your Amazon Gift Card and combine the smaller amounts into one lump sum to spend in one place. Since those remaining amounts are often small and difficult to use, this is like getting free money. #girl 😉
To do this, go to the Amazon gift card reload page and type any remaining balance you have left on your card into the card. “$ Other” field. Add the card to your cart and go to checkout, then add that prepaid card as your payment method. Once the transaction is complete, you can remove that card from your account.

2. Get an instant gift card after your Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Signature card is approved.
If you’re free to pick up a new credit card, Amazon offers existing Prime Members up to a $150 Amazon gift card when they’re approved for an Amazon Visa Card.
If approved, you will receive a gift card immediatelyand you will be able to earn money with each purchase. And, if you’re a regular Amazon shopper, those rewards add up quickly over time!
Plus, with your new card, you’ll get 5% back at Amazon, Whole Foods Market, and Chase Travel with an eligible Prime membership. Cardholders can earn 6% back with Amazon Day Delivery, or 10% back on a rotating selection of items and categories!
You’ll also earn 2% back at participating restaurants, gas stations, and local transportation (including rideshare), and 1% back on everything else. Best of all, there’s no annual fee for a credit card! 🤩
3. Get Amazon credit if you’re approved for an Amazon Store card.
Amazon Store Card approved Prime members can get an instant Amazon gift card! Price can vary, but we’ve seen anything from $10 to $60! The Amazon Store Card earns members 5% at Amazon.com and Whole Foods Market. This card has no annual fee, and eligible purchases have a 0% APR. Non-qualifying purchases have an APR of 29.99%, so use your card with this in mind.
4. Become an Amazon Shopper Panel member to earn free Amazon cash.

There are three ways to use this app to get credits toward your Amazon gift card balance:
- Take available surveys. Your credits will be automatically added to your Amazon Shopper Panel account.
- Scan or download your receipts for purchases made outside of Amazon. This method can earn you up to $10 per month!
- Complete the offers you can find. You may see the option to earn rewards for purchasing certain items, similar to how Ibotta and Fetch offers work. Space is limited for this portion of the program.
All rewards are credited to your Amazon account internally the first 48 hours of each monthso you’ll want to act NOW to get them and use them early for the next auction.
5. Watch for opportunities to earn FREE credits by purchasing an Amazon eGift Card.
In the past, Prime Members were able to get a $5 Amazon Credit with a $50 Amazon eGift Card purchase!
While we don’t know if Amazon will offer the same credit leading up to the 2026 Spring Sale event, we have hope! Sign up for Hip2Save text alerts to be among the first to know if this great opportunity presents itself again this fall.
6. Watch for a bonus of up to $12 when you use Amazon Reload.
Last year, Prime Members who were first-time users could receive a bonus $12 gift card credit to reload an Amazon e-Gift card with $100+ in a single purchase using Amazon Reload.
We can’t guarantee that this offer will return, but we’re crossing our fingers!
7. Redeem Shopkick points for an Amazon gift card.
Shopkick users can sometimes earn “kicks” or points for visiting stores – no purchase necessary! That kick can be redeemed for gift cards, including Amazon! Amazon gift cards typically require fewer points than other major retailers, so this is an easy way to add to your Amazon credit balance.
8. Look for instant shipping rewards.
Ready to shop Amazon sales? Keep an eye out during checkout for the option to earn instant rewards.
If you don’t need the package right away, you can get a small digital reward or a quick discount by choosing a slower shipping speed (usually about a week). Just remember that these rewards can only be used on selected items.
9. Save your photos with Amazon Photo.
Previously, Amazon Prime members were offered a $15 Amazon credit on purchases of $30+ for backing up their photos to Amazon Photo. If you have an offer, it will be mentioned in the banner at the top of the page.
Then download the Amazon Photo App for Android or iOS. Turn on auto-save to automatically back up your photos. You will receive an email with your FREE $15 Amazon credit within 4 days.
